Directors of Community Support work within Support Service organizations, or government agencies, which exist to enable communities to develop and deliver preventive social programming to enhance the well being of individuals and families.
Community Support Director Job Duties
- Responsible for budget preparation, auditing and reporting cycles
- Recruit, train and supervise all support staff and volunteers
- Oversee the effective development of and maintenance of community development opportunities
- Perform administrative functions pertaining to program delivery
- Confer with the Board of Directors concerning the strategic development of policies and procedures
