Document Reviewer Job Description
Document reviewers are responsible for reviewing and editing industry specific documents in order to confirm their compliance with relevant regulations and by-laws and company policies. Due to the nature of the work, this position is often offered by employers on a part-time or contractual basis.
Typical Job Duties
• Maintain extensive knowledge regarding industry specific documentation guidelines and regulations
• Work with management in order to gain understanding of the employer’s documentation needs
• Review documents and make editorial suggestions
• May be responsible for making necessary changes to documents
• Ensure documents comply with relevant regulations, guidelines and by-laws
