Marketing coordinators assist the entire marketing team with various project tasks relating to customer satisfaction analysis, sales programs and product development.
Marketing Coordinators must deliver marketing information to other internal departments on behalf of the marketing team in a timely manner.
Typical Job Duties
• Conduct research in order to identify target market
• Conduct research relating to the marketing efforts of the competition, and the entire sector as a whole
• Liaise with other team members to coordinate events such as trade shows, speaking engagements and exhibitions
• Write, produce and distribute press releases and media kits
• Invite media to relevant events and serve as on-site media contact
• Source and negotiate advertising space in various forms of media such as newspapers and television
• Design advertisements for various forms of media
