Evangelist Job Description
An Evangelist is a preacher who spreads religious messages across the country, and is financially supported by their church in doing so. They may travel across the country or host a radio or television ministry.
Typical Job Duties
• Frequently study and interpret the Bible
• Must tell the whole story of Jesus and answer people’s questions
• Interact with people at speaking engagements
• Secure speaking engagements and travel to them
• Speak at midweek services that are common among evangelical churches
