Pastoral Services Coordinator Job Description

The pastoral services coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing pastoral care programs which recognize religious diversity and focus on providing resources and activities for patients, family members and employees which meet their spiritual needs.

Typical Job Duties

• Organize and lead seminars on marriage enrichment and inner healing

• Organize and lead an intervention group

• Visit with parishioners who are experiencing a crisis

• Develop a pastoral care program to include spiritual direction

• Provide individual and group counseling to clients from the church and community
