LGBTQ services coordinators organize and promote events and programs, such as mentorship programs, on behalf of an organization or group which provides services and runs programs for members of the gay and lesbian community.
Typical Job Duties
• Respond to telephone and e-mail inquiries
• Communicate regularly with mentors and mentees
• Pair mentors and mentees together
• Develop and distribute promotional materials
• Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for mentors and other staff
• Maintain records of work in order to create a seamless transition between current and future mentors and other staff
