Sexual Assault Educator Job Description

Sexual assault educators work with sexual assault prevention coordinators to implement and monitor sexual assault awareness and prevention activities and programs in a school or community setting. 

Typical Job Duties

• Work with young people from diverse backgrounds

• May use role-plays and theatre tools to implement activities

• Articulate an analysis of such issues as sexualized violence in our society 

• Monitor and evaluate program activities

• Refer program participants to other resources within the community as necessary

• Confer with sexual prevention coordinators on a regular basis
