Community outreach coordinators involve people with community activities which they feel may improve their quality of life. They liaise with family members and medical personnel to provide information about the community or clients.

Typical Job Duties

• Organize and lead group activities

• Assist clients in need of counseling or crisis intervention

• Maintain comprehensive records of the communities and the clients they serve

• Administer emergency programs such as food banks
