Music Advisor Job Description

Music advisors are employed by educational institutions in order to supervise students who participate in music classes and clubs.

The role of music advisor carries the responsibility of ensuring that each participating student achieves a high level of involvement and enjoyment.

Typical Job Duties

• Plan and schedule a regular program of meetings and activities for each club

• Provide assistance, guidance and instruction to students as applicable

• Fill out facility usage forms when requesting the use of a building

• Supervise many students at a time

• Ensure that all fundraising activities are conducted according to school policies, guidelines and procedures

• Be present at all meeting held by clubs, school administrators and parents
