• Evaluate news leads
• Authenticate information by conducting interviews, research and observation
• Prepare compelling and informative articles based on acquired information
• Liaise with producers, writers and editors in order to refine story and ensure it complies with station policies and standards
• Use outstanding communication skills to present news stories
• May supply editorial commentary regarding stories
