International Aid and Development Project Officer Job Description

International aid and development officers are responsible for planning, organizing and administering foreign aid and international development policies. International aid and development project officers may be employed by government agencies or non-profit organizations. 

General Job Duties

• Liaise with program director to gain understanding of project scope

• Recruit, hire, train and support staff

• Work with local authorities, relevant institutions and aid organizations to properly administer program

• Prepare project briefings and reports

• Assist in the search for additional program funding
