Production Coordinator Job Description

Production coordinators liaise with production managers to oversee and manage the activities of television or film production personnel.  

Typical Job Duties

• Schedule and coordinate the flow of work between production crews, such as audio, cast and editors

• Liaise with directors and producers

• Liaise with crew leaders to ensure production activities are being performed within budgetary and timeline restrictions

• Oversee the safekeeping of all production equipment

• Hire and direct production staff and crew members
