Dance Company Director Job Description

Dance company managers are responsible for managing the company artists, including Human Resource Management. Dance company directors are also responsible for all touring activity.

Typical Job Duties

• Report to senior management, including the Director of Touring and the Director of Business Development

• Manage all human resources functions related to the company artists

• Act as a liaison with foreign departments of immigration to ensure all documentation is in order for foreign dancers

• Obtain appropriate visas to enter foreign countries

• Manage tour budgets and schedules

• Coordinate rehearsal schedules, other internal calendars and payroll functions
