Content Developer Job Description
Online content developers are responsible for creating content for the website of an individual, government agency, business, non-profit organization or other entities. The content may be composed of articles, instructions, editorial reviews, illustrations, pictures, charts, graphs, lists or other material.
Typical Job Duties
• Present ideas to clients or webmasters
• Ensure content aligns with the goals and objectives of the website
• Prepare content based on agreed upon criteria
• Track visitation statistics to determine what content is most viewed
• Work with webmaster to determine placement of content
• Review and edit existing content
• May liaise with other professionals to ensure content is search engine friendly
